Rowing in the heart of England

Birmingham Rowing Club was established in 1873, and is one of the oldest sport clubs in the city. We’re a friendly and sociable club, open to both seasoned rowers and new members wanting to try their hand at a new sport. Our social calendar provides a chance for club members to get to know their teammates off the water.

We have recently celebrated our 150th anniversary and look forward to welcoming you to Edgbaston Reservoir for this year’s Birmingham Regatta on Saturday 27th April

Based at Edgbaston Reservoir, the club caters for all ages and abilities with a thriving junior squad, adult novice, intermediate and senior squads, as well as a friendly recreational squad for non-competitive rowing. The Club has had lots of success at regional and national competitions in recent years, and our junior and adult squads compete across the UK all year round.
