Birmingham Regatta 2024

We look forward to welcoming you to Edgbaston Reservoir for this year’s Birmingham Regatta on Saturday, 27th April.

Racing will be held in 2 or 3 lanes and round robins so dependent on entries you will get lots of stakeboat and racing practice.

Thanks to the clubs who have entered this year’s regatta. Here are the complete results

Thanks also to the umpires who volunteered their time to help us run the day: Jo Atkinson, Andrew Blit, Rachel Bray, Kat Carlyle, Warren Cheung, Paul Danby, Kath Finucane, Steve Fuller, Paul Holmes, Kim Martyn-Smith, Clive Pendry, Ashley Roberts, Stephen Rose, Gail Thomas, Roger Woollen. All competitions need umpires and if you would lieke to consider giving it a go have a look here

Here are the Draw, Instructions Officials, Instructions Competitors and Maps.

There is still much uncertainty in all the forecast models about the likely weather conditions for Saturday with the wind ranging from 3/4 mph to 11 mph and anything from a cross head wind to a cross tail at our usual starting position at the dam wall. Once we have a better idea I’ll email again letting you know which course direction we will be using. We are, however, confident that the Reservoir will be rowable. It will be unseasonably cold so please ensure that crews have enough kit with them for about 45 minutes on the water in the bigger events.
